Access control at zoo staff entrance

ABC Hekwerken has installed one of our bicycle turnstiles at the staff entrance of Blijdorp Zoo in Rotterdam. This solution allows employees with their bicycles to access the grounds in a safe and controlled way.

A bicycle turnstile is designed for situations where both the person and the bicycle must be able to pass at the same time. After identification via a pass reader, for example, the turnstile rotates freely, allowing the employee to pass in one fluid movement.

Thanks to its robust and weatherproof design, this solution is suitable for permanent outdoor use. It contributes to a clear, safe and closed staff entrance. Ideal for locations with high daily bicycle traffic, such as zoos, logistics sites and industrial environments.
